Drop shipping is a business setup where an entrepreneur is enabled to run their own store without any prior investment. A drop shipper sells products on their store or any marketplace, once the item gets sold, they will buy it from the supplier, who will ship that product directly to the customer. Let’s take a real-life example to help you understand the whole procedure in detail. Let us assume that our product is a Faucet. As a seller, you sell a Faucet on your website or any other platform for Rs. 1000 + Rs. 150 for shipping and handling charges. Your buyer places the order and pays you a total of Rs. 1150. You would then log in to your account on our Dropship site and place the order for the same faucet for Rs. 750. You keep your profit margin in between the sales and purchase price for the faucet. In this case, the profit is Rs. 250. Once the order is placed we ship the faucet to your customer with your given details and provide you with a tracking number. The item gets delivered to your customer and the transaction is completed. It is as simple as it sounds.

When a seller sells the products on various platform and the product is shipped directly by the supplier without the seller coming in direct contact with the physical product, this process is known as Drop shipping and the seller is called Drop Shipper.


Steps of Dropshipping

1.    The Drop shipper posts/lists the products in their store which may be in a marketplace or their own website.
2.    Customer will place the order and pay them the amount asked by the Drop Shipper.
3.    Drop shipper will place the order to the supplier and pay the amount asked by the supplier
4.    Supplier will ship the product directly to the customer at given address by the drop shipper

Yes, it is mandatory to have a Registered Account with us. You will be able to place the order only if you are an account holder in Easydropship. This account will also enable you to track all the details related to your orders, shipping, payment, notifications and much more.

One of the major benefit of Drop shipping is that you can start your business without any major investment. We are happy to let you know that you do not have to invest a single penny on our products before selling them. Only after you get order and you get paid for the item you have listed on your site or a marketplace, you can place the order for the same item with us and pay us our discounted price.

Yes, you can definitely sell our products on marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, Google Store, Flipkart, etc and even on your own website. You can download the product data from our site and list them on various marketplaces across India.

Once the order is confirmed and paid, the next day we initiate the order for dispatch process. However, the handling time for an order would be 3-5 working days. Easydropship is working with multiple carrier partners to make sure that your customer receives their item safely and speedy and at most reasonable price. It may take maximum 15-20 days for delivery of order depending on customer’s postcode.

Please note :

  • Delivery time only starts after buyers payments have been cleared and the item has been dispatched from our warehouse (usually 3-5 working days after receipt of cleared payment).
  • We are unable to guarantee a delivery on any specific dates or times as this is not something our delivery partners would be able to guarantee either.

All the products sold by us are brand new and are dispatched in the same package as provided by the supplier. The warranty of products will be applied as mentioned in the listing.

You are required to notify us within 7 working days post-delivery if in the unlikely situation that the product arrives damaged of faulty. With the detailed description, you are requested to provide images or a short video clip (depending on the nature of issue) focusing on the concerned area in order to process the claim further. Once the concern is assessed and approved by the customer service department, we shall contact you for further return, replacement and refund process. Please do not proceed the return without our confirmation/approval.

Restocking fees plus return freight will be subtracted from refund in case of change of mind, item not as expected, size issue (despite given dimensions). The return should be dispatched within 5 days after receiving the approval from Easydropship.

A refund would generally take 2-3 working days to process and will be processed to your wallet . However, please allow 5 additional working days for the finance department to process the transaction.

The replacement would take maximum 3-5 working days to dispatch after the confirmation, depending on the availability of the stock. In case of delay in confirmation, the dispatch time may vary.

In case of product being misused, mishandled, mistakenly installed or tampered there would be no replacement or refund. Customers are responsible to follow the instructions and advice given by manufacturers.

You are required to notify us within 7 days from delivered date in the unlikely event that the item arrives damaged or faulty.

In addition to a detailed description, you are required to provide images and/or a short video clip of the damaged area/part not working, in order to proceed with the warranty/replacement/return process. Once these data are assessed, decision will be made for it being approved or not and then our customer service team will contact you to proceed with the return or refund or replacement process.  Please allow 10 working days for the decision being made, as it involves technical team/suppliers/manufacturer.


  • Please do not attempt to return the item without our approval.
  • Replacements cannot be dispatched until damaged/faulty goods are received.
  • Goods must be returned complete in their original packaging and with all accessories.

Refund generally takes up to 2 working days to process and will notify you once the refund has been processed. However, please allow an additional 5 working days on top for your financial institution to process it.

Once we confirm receipt of the product, we will inspect the faulty item. If the product returned is not deemed faulty, it will be returned to the customer, return charges may apply. If the product is deemed faulty you will have the option of an exchange or refund.

Please note that we can only cancel your order if the item has not been dispatched from our warehouse.  As we operate on an automated dispatching system and responding to the message takes time, it is highly possible that an order has been already dispatched before the CS go through the cancellation message. Nevertheless, it is recommended to please notify as early as possible and we shall do our best to help.

In unlikely even that the product is out of stock or there is a technical hiccup, the customer will be notified for the delay and given an option to cancel the order. Once the order is dispatched, we hand over the responsibility to our carrier partners of delivering the product on time.

You will receive an email with the tracking number once your order leaves the warehouse. The handling time for an order would be maximum 3-5 working days unless communicated otherwise.

Currently, we only ship within India.

There is no minimum order requirement. You can order as little as one product at a time.

Yes, Inventory files can be downloaded from your registered account. Inventory/Catalogue file is available in CSV format and a notification mail will be sent to all the registered reseller daily once the inventory is updated.

Tracking information will be emailed to you. Alternatively, you can also view the Status of your order in the All Orders tab in the Orders History page.
